Zensa Marketing is owned and operated by Jennifer Waddell Null, a formally trained graphic designer, internationally published writer, and licensed Texas attorney. From 1999-2004, she worked as the marketing director for two Dallas-based small businesses: Steinway Hall Dallas (provider of hand-crafted pianos) and Fluent Systems (a computer systems integration firm). Jennifer graduated from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law in 2007, only to discover that she vastly prefers marketing to the practice of law. After finding her freelance marketing services in demand, she decided to leverage both her legal education and creative background to found Zensa Marketing.

Jennifer studied graphic design at Texas Christian University, where she completed 46 credit hours of courses (a full degree at most other schools, but considered a minor at TCU). She also has a Bachelor’s degree in English from TCU, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude, and with departmental honors. After college, Jennifer wrote weekly articles for The Dallas Morning News for before transitioning into her marketing career.

Jennifer has published some short fiction, including “Alice Holds the Cards,” a short story in First Lady Murders, edited by Nancy Pickard. She has also sold a stage play, which was translated into German and produced in Germany in 2003. The play, Mord am Thereiseinstein, was staged in a castle, received national German press, and sold out three seasons.
